Faith-Based & Community Initiatives
This site aggregates and disseminates information about the White House Office
of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) and its programs. Although
not affiliated with the White House OFBCI, this Web site provides direct links
to the funding opportunities offered by the executive agencies designated by
the President to lead this national effort. For more information, view a fact

The
Foundation Center
The mission of the Foundation Center is to support and improve institutional
philanthropy by promoting public understanding of the field and helping grantseekers
succeed. Their Foundation Finder
offers several services to grantseekers, including directory information on
over 73,000 private and community foundations and a searchable database of annotated
links to grantmaker Web sites. The Foundation Center's
Learning Lab offers free on-line tutorials, an on-line librarian, answers
to frequently asked questions, information on training courses, and more.

Nurses' Foundation (ANF)
ANF is the national philanthropic organization that promotes the continued growth
and development of nurses and services to advance the work of the nursing profession.

Maryland's
Grant Resource Center
This page from the Maryland Department of Planning provides links to a number
of resources to use in identifying grant opportunities and other types of funding
assistance. These include both government and nonprofit resources, such as the
Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations, the Chronical of Philanthropy,
and the Grantsmanship Center.
The
NPIN Funding Database
This database is provided by the CDC's National Prevention Information Network
(NPIN). It includes private and government funding opportunities for community-based
services and programs addressing HIV/AIDS, STD, and tuberculosis prevention.
Included are details about eligibility requirements, application processes,
and deadlines.
