Faith-Based & Community Initiatives
This site aggregates and disseminates information about the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (OFBCI) and its programs. Although not affiliated with the White House OFBCI, this Web site provides direct links to the funding opportunities offered by the executive agencies designated by the President to lead this national effort. For more information, view a fact sheet on the President's Faith-Based and Community Initiatives provided by the U.S. Administration on Aging.

The Foundation Center
The mission of the Foundation Center is to support and improve institutional philanthropy by promoting public understanding of the field and helping grantseekers succeed. Their Foundation Finder offers several services to grantseekers, including directory information on over 73,000 private and community foundations and a searchable database of annotated links to grantmaker Web sites. The Foundation Center's Learning Lab offers free on-line tutorials, an on-line librarian, answers to frequently asked questions, information on training courses, and more.

American Nurses' Foundation (ANF)
ANF is the national philanthropic organization that promotes the continued growth and development of nurses and services to advance the work of the nursing profession.
Visit this site for information on their grants programs.

Maryland's Grant Resource Center

These include both government and nonprofit resources, such as the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations, the Chronical of Philanthropy, and the Grantsmanship Center.

The NPIN Funding Database
This database is provided by the CDC's National Prevention Information Network (NPIN). It includes private and government funding opportunities for community-based services and programs addressing HIV/AIDS, STD, and tuberculosis prevention.
