violence, along with information on symptoms of abuse, prevention, directories,
organizations, and statistics, along with specific information for men and teenagers.

The
National Center on Elder Abuse
The National Center on Elder Abuse is funded by the federal Administration on
Aging. This Web site serves as a resource for public and private agencies, professionals,
service providers, and individuals interested in elder abuse prevention information,
training, technical assistance and research. The Web site includes a state-by-state
listing of statewide toll-free telephone numbers.
Maryland
Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV)
MNADV works together with twenty-one comprehensive domestic violence service
providers in Maryland, as well as criminal justice and law enforcement personnel,
legal advocates, health care and social service providers, clergy, educators,
businesses, community groups, and concerned individuals to provide consistent
community responses to domestic violence. The site includes a domestic violence
program directory for locating county hotline numbers, shelters, and programs.

State
of Maryland Family Violence Council
The mission of the Family Violence Council is to prevent and reduce family violence
in Maryland, and to break the cycle of violence between generations. This site
provides domestic violence and sexual assault hotlines and contact information
for related organizations.
FaithTrust Institute
The Center (formerly known as the Center for Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence) is an interreligious educational resource addressing issues of sexual
and domestic violence with an emphasis on education and prevention. This site
provides overviews of sexual and domestic violence from a religious standpoint,
and also provides a catalog of educational materials, information on training
opportunities, and links to other organizations addressing this issue.
